Week 1: Use Case Mapping & Workflow Analysis

Wednesday 30 Sept 

  • State what these systems do reliably well, what they do badly, and which kind of model suits which kind of step.
  • Map a real process you own to its current state, with every step, the time each takes, and where it breaks.
  • Tell a use case from a idea, and state yours as a process flow rather than a tool.
  • Rank candidates on value and ease, then test the front-runner against cost and access.
  • Estimate how running cost escalates as dependencies are added, and judge whether the time returned justifies it.
  • Capture a baseline measurement now, so Week 10 impact is measured rather than estimated.
  • Write a first-pass workflow brief that scopes the build for the remaining nine weeks.

Week 2: Risk, Ethics & ROI for AI Use Cases  

 Wednesday Wed 7 Oct

  • Explain why a workflow that runs on a trigger carries a different risk profile from an assistant that answers when asked.

  • Assess risk at the level of each step in your own map.
  • Apply the six AI6 practices at the implementation tier to a build that runs unwatched.
  • Allocate each step to always review, spot-check or unsupervised, and defend the allocation.
  • Build an ROI case with a cost side, and say honestly when it does not close on time saved.
  • State a success target against your Week 1 baseline, before the build exists.

Week 3: Automation Fundamentals

Week 8: Change Management for AI-Enabled Teams
